About Us
Peaches began as a small wedding shop selling once worn dresses for brides on a budget. It took off so well that we had to move to bigger premises within the first two years of trading. Having celebrated our 10th anniversary in November 2008, we are now very well established selling new gowns only and are among the leading stockists with many of our suppliers.
Our bridal range consists of designs by Alfred Angelo, Bonny, Sincerity and Venus. We also have a specialised selection of gowns, the 'Unforgettable' range by Bonny Bridal caters for brides sized 18 to 34. With dresses in every conceivable style we are sure you’ll be impressed. We aim to keep our prices affordable to everyone’s pocket, for that reason we have a reduced rail for off the peg dresses all priced at under £400. This allows us to keep up to date and make way for all the latest gowns as they’re launched. In November 2008 we extended our services by introducing men’s formal hire supplied by Anthony. To run along side this we now carry a selection of Prom dresses. This year we have added Christening Gowns to our extensive range of Communion dresses and accessories.
We pride ourselves in being friendly and professional and aim to give all visitors the best customer service possible. Every bride is an individual and for this reason we strongly recommended appointments are booked in advanced, allowing us to give you our fullest attention.
It’s never too early to start looking for your dress! Once you have set a date and your venues are booked, finding your dream dress should be next on your list, as this will set the theme for the rest of your wedding. Many brides may be surprised to know that most new gowns will take four or five months to be delivered to us and we like to begin fittings about six to eight weeks before the wedding. It’s definitely worth bearing this in mind when you begin planning your big day.
